Research interests:

My research is currently focused on synthesis and characterization of mixed conducing polymer to understand their structure-property relationships.

Bio:

I got my Ph.D. at Jeonbuk National University in South Korea under the guidance of Prof. Kwang-Un Jeong. During my Ph.D., I designed and synthesized the stimuli-responsive supramolecules for optoelectronic application. In 2020, I joined Prof. Julia Ortony’s group in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Massachusetts Institute Technology as a postdoctoral researcher. My research focused on the self-assembly of achiral aramid amphiphile into helical nanostructure in water. In 2022, I joined the groups of Prof. Rachel Segalman and Prof. Christopher Bates at University of California, Santa Barbara as a postdoctoral researcher. I like to do activities outdoor and watch sports games (soccer!, baseball and basketball). Especially, I am a huge fan of Jeonbuk Hyundai motors, a top soccer team in the Asian League.
