Research interests:

My research focuses on the rheology-enhanced depolymerization of polyolefins. I am studying the effects of polymer imbibition into porous materials and its effects on catalytic depolymerization with the goal of developing optimized catalysts for polymer upcycling.

Bio:

I grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Pitt in 2020 with a degree in chemical engineering. While at Pitt, I worked in the Fullerton Group, developing alginate-based, biodegradable plastics. I also completed a co-op with DuPont’s Central Research division where I developed new commercial catalysts and conducted lab work to support various DuPont plants around the globe. When I am not working, I enjoy playing video games, disc golf, and exploring Santa Barbara with friends.
