Research interests:
My research focuses on creating sequence-defined peptoids for use in anti-fouling coatings.
Bio:
I grew up in Austin, Texas and studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. As an undergraduate, I first worked in the lab of Dr. Grant Willson, where I studied pitch-division photoresists for nanolithography. I then worked under Dr. Nathaniel Lynd, where I created models for fitting reactivity ratios and synthesized new polymers for membrane applications. Outside of the lab, I enjoy surfing, playing sports, and exploring the outdoors.
